About
The Neuroscience Society (DUNE) was founded in 2020 and provides a multi-disciplinary community for all Durham University students interested in neuroscience to meet, engage with and support each other. We hold regular discussion meetings centred around a different area of neuroscience each time, from cellular neurobiology to computational neuroscience and neurophilosophy. We also put on academic events, such as talks with guest speakers. The society aims to be research-focused through keeping up to date with current discoveries in the field and prides itself in guiding interested members towards neuroscientific opportunities beyond the society, such as national conferences and relevant research studentships. Membership is free and we are open to all students, regardless of their degree, subject or year.
